HAD TO BE REMOVED A RAVING LUNATIC.

Singleton Argus (NSW) Tuesday 26 October, 1909
A pathetic instance is reported fromCapetown in connection with the disappearance of the Waratah. A man, with his little son, went to the docks tomeet his wife and child, who were passengers on the liner. Consumed withanxiety at the non-arrival of the vessel, the distracted husband remained on thedocks for four days, and eventually hadto be removed a raving lunatic.

Let us not forget the reality of the Waratah never arriving at Cape Town.
