THE WARATAH
IS SHE AFLOAT?
EXPERTS SAY "NO"
Melbourne, February 14.
Captain W. H. Bennett, ex-captain ofthe Loch Vennachar, who has made manytrips across the Southern Ocean says:

'The vessel may have blown her sides out' - ghastly thought but perhaps a quick end for those on board if this is what happened.

I agree, Mole. When all is said and done, one hopes that the end came quickly for all those on the Waratah. Best wishes, Andrew
